VLP Poetry Reading January 30, 2002, at Coffee Shop Gallery
You are invited to attend the Vermillion Literary Project Combination Open-Mic Reading and Poetry Slam, scheduled for Thursday, January 30, at 7 p.m., at the Coffee Shop Gallery, 24 W. Main Street, downtown Vermillion. Bring your own writing to share or just come to listen and enjoy great coffee!
The Open-Mic begins promptly at 7 p.m. Bring your poems, short-short stories, and musical creations to share. This is a great choice for writers who prefer a non-competitive venue or for beginners.
The POETRY SLAM begins at approx. 8 p.m. (when the open-mic ends). This is a competition for poets. For more information, see www.usd.edu/~projlit/poetryslam.html.
