VLP Poetry Slam and SD Festival of Books
Two upcoming events to keep in mind. . . .
The Vermillion Literary Project is sponsoring a poetry slam on Thursday, August 26th, at 7 p.m., at the Coffee Shop Gallery, 24 W. Main Street, downtown Vermillion. This event is free and open to the general public. Slam poets should bring at least three poems. Prizes will be awarded! For those who don't know, a poetry slam is a competition for poets.
